I'm thrilled to be partnering with The Market at Grelen again this fall to offer 3 new Watercolor Botanical Painting Workshops to help you enjoy the turning of seasons! These workshops are for total beginners and experienced artists alike and offer a chance to slow down and engage with nature on a deeper level, learn new painting skills, and enjoy meeting like-minded people in a creative community
Autumn Leaf Watercolor Workshop
OCTOBER 5th
Beginner - Advanced
Please join us for this fall-themed workshop where you’ll learn to paint vibrant, realistic autumn leaves in watercolor, just in time to celebrate the season. This 3-hour class is designed for beginner and intermediate students alike and will help you develop confidence in your artistic abilities while creating your own botanical masterpiece. Feel free to take breaks and visit The Market at Grelen for snacks and drinks during the session (not included in the ticket price).

Whether you're just starting or looking to refine your skills, these workshops provide a perfect opportunity to unleash your creativity! Before or after the class, lunch in the Grelen cafe, shop in the boutique and/or hike the six miles of Grelen Trails. The shop and trails are open 10 -4 and the cafe is open 11 - 3:30. Holiday Votive Candle Surround

Please join us for a very special holiday art workshop where you will create your very own hand-painted votive candle centerpiece embellished with metallic embroidery with Courtney Hopkins, artist of Tiny Pine Art and Leslie Woodward, master embroidery artist. In this full day, 2-part workshop, you’ll learn to paint vibrant, realistic winter-themed botanicals in watercolor with Courtney. After a 1 hour lunch break (with an included boxed lunch), you’ll learn from Leslie how to embellish your newly created painting with gorgeous, metallic embroidery that will reflect the candlelight, illuminating your design.
This 6 1/2 hr class is designed for all skill levels and includes options to customize the colors and difficulty level so you leave with a piece that is unique to you and ready to enjoy this holiday season. Courtney and Leslie are excited to help you explore your creativity, develop confidence in your artistic abilities, and take home an art project you truly feel proud of! While you’re at the workshop for this holiday weekend event, you’ll be able to enjoy shopping with the artisan vendors and support the charity as well. Winter Botanical Greeting Cards Workshop

Please join us for a very special holiday art workshop where you will create your very own hand-painted watercolor botanical greeting cards with Courtney Hopkins, artist of Tiny Pine Art. In this workshop, you’ll learn to paint vibrant, realistic winter-themed botanicals in watercolor and leave with 3 of your very own handpainted cards (with envelopes) to keep or give away to loved ones this holiday season. Featured winter botanicals include holly, spruce, juniper, and pine complete with berries and pinecones.
