If you're in Central Virginia or are looking to visit the area, I invite you to join me at the gorgeous Market at Grelan this summer for one of my Botanical Watercolor Workshops.
These workshops are the perfect way to spend a summer Sunday afternoon. You'll be engaging with your creativity and learning new skills while surrounded by the beautiful Virginia countryside.
About the Workshops
These workshops are specially designed to teach you all my favorite watercolor tips and tricks so that you can create your very own beautiful, luminous paintings of botanicals. I'll walk you through the entire process from initial drawing to final painting (beginner classes will work from a pre-sketched drawing). We'll cover everything from painting techniques, color mixing, and more. All materials will be provided for you to make your experience as carefree and relaxing as possible.
There are 2 beginner classes and 2 Intermediate/advanced classes offered so that everyone feels supported, no matter their skill level. You can even sign up for a beginner + advanced class bundle for a discount!
At the end of the workshop, you'll leave with your very own completed painting as well as a take-home materials and painting guide to help you remember what you learned at the workshop.

The Market at Grelan
If you haven't been to The Market at Grelan yet, you're in for a treat. This European-style garden shop and cafe is situated in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and serves farm-to-table lunch complete with homemade ice cream and a selection of Virginia craft beer, cider, and wine. They also offer 6+ miles of walking trails through their 1,000 acre plant nursery along with seasonal pick-your-own fruit. To round off your trip, you can visit their garden shop where you can find everything from plants to botanical-inspired homewares and gifts!
